Carbon Accounting

In a world that is constantly changing, never has there been a time where the focus on becoming environmentally conscious of our carbon footprint has become so important.

Changes, both large and small scale, are taking place to create a more sustainable future for our planet now and for future generations.

At Bourne & Weir we are changing too.  Not only are we looking within our practice and how we do business, but part of this change is to be environmentally responsible. This equates to being able to measure ours and our client’s carbon footprint to understand ways and means of being able to reduce that carbon footprint.

So, with all of this in mind, we are very excited to announce to our valued clients that we will be providing carbon accounting services to those who need or would like this support.

Bourne & Weir have partnered with Local Carbon where our aim is to assist clients to reduce their carbon footprint by positive action and not just simply through buying credits.

What is Carbon Accounting?

Carbon Accounting includes completing an emissions assessment in line with global standards, so the business understands its carbon footprint. Once this is available, we can provide support with emission reduction through both a carbon and financial lens.

Large businesses are already looking to find this information out from their supply chain and if you are dealing with medium to large businesses or government departments, this will be part and parcel of due diligence and tender processes moving forward.

Best to be at the forefront rather than playing catch up later on.

Want to get involved?

To help us plan for the delivery of this new service, we are seeking an indication as to the need for this support from our clients over the next few months.

It would be most helpful if you could please complete this survey, it will take less than a few minutes.
